Nagazora Travels
After Kiana freed Mei from her Herrscher corruption, the two began travelling through Nagazora to escape the Honkai Eruption.
Along the way the two met Bronya, an assasin who was being controlled by ‘C’. After a long battle Bronya was freed by Kiana and the three continued their travels along Nagazora.
Homu Paradise
The trio finds themselves at the Homu Paradise amusement park as the story continues.

**Trigger Warning**
This manga depicts sexual abuse. The story isn’t very essential for the larger plot, so don’t feel bad skipping it if it makes you uncomfortable.
Taking place shortly before the Honkai Eruption in Chapter 1 of the game, Three Year Sakura depicts what happened during Kiana’s enrollment in the Academy City.
Asakura Miyuki is a transfer student in the Academy. She fled her previous school in an attempt to get away from her bullies and abusers. They find her, but Kiana fights them off.
It turns out Miyuki is ostracised in her new school for being gay, and she falls for Kiana. She finds out Kiana’s birthday and wants to give her a Three Year Sakura as a gift.
But Miyuki has a dark side, and has been kidnapping girls in the area, before abusing them and discarding them. Possibly already under the Honkai’s influence.
Kiana confronts her about it, and in her desperation Honkai transforms Miyuki into a monster. Kiana shoots her. Dying in a field of flowers, Miyuki gives Kiana her gift and thanks her.
As Kiana, Mei and Bronya celebrate Kiana’s birthday, Kiana reminisces on these events, and we see she still has the Three Year Sakura.
Honkai Impact 3rd
If you’re not playing Honkai Impact 3rd yet, now is the perfect time to give it a go.
Honkai Impact 3rd started with a series of manga spinning off from GGZ using the ‘worldlines’ concept mentioned in the Kevin novel.
It largely skips over the initial introductions of Kiana, Mei and Bronya, assuming a similar background to their GGZ counterparts.
The stories then veer off in different directions, while sharing some common elements.
